Outrageous

Category: Academic,Disability Studies,Hackers — Biella @ 6:52 pm

This person really is not happy I wrote about hacking on this disability blog.

HACKING?:??? PHREAKING???? These are all terms I have learned about from YEARS of investigating into HOW MY PRIVATE PHONE CONVERSATIONS COULD BE DISPLAYED BY SOMEONE IN A CHATROOM AND HOW SOME INDIVIDUAL COULD BOLDLY CLAIM MY LIFE AND HIS AND WITHOUT REMORSE ENGAGE IN THE MOST VICIOUS TYPE OF CYBERCRIMINALITY POSSIBLE, DEPENDING ON THE FLUIDITY OF THE LEGAL SYSTEM TO CONTINUE HIS ACTS.

I think your article is an outrage.

An outrage

  1. They will all suffer for this outrage!

  2. Perhaps the poster should read up about a few topics in psychology, such as defensive projection and displacement of anger. Perhaps they might even benefit from a few visits to a psychologist (or then again, perhaps not).

  5. Hmm… I read the whole comment, and it looks to me like the person who wrote it is a paranoid schizophrenic. I hope he/she gets help.

  6. That is probably the case Alex though it is always hard to say what is happening online. If it is the case he is paranoid, it is very sad and hopefully he can get treatment.

I have been in a few situations when I gave a talk on hackers and really OFFENDED older people in the audience. They huff and puff and leave and/or yell at me. It is sort of embarrassing but I have become used to the prospect as well.

  7. One of the puzzlements to me is by what route these people get here. I was in a #olpc-help when someone was asking about help with fixing their vista install and demanded we help them. Its like what did this person type in to the google box to lead him/her to your blog. It boggles the mind.
