1. It’s as stupid as those clauses you can get in emails that you aren’t even allowed to read or posess the email if you are not the intended recipent..

   Anyway, I think it is established that you can’t do it the way this author tries to do it. 1.1 and prior versions were released under the license and the author can’t require that users uninstall or stop use the program or even stop distributing it. The author can’t terminate the license, even companies having mistakenly released code have learnt this.

2. GPLv2 part 2:

   All rights granted under this License are granted for the term of copyright on the Program, and are irrevocable provided the stated conditions are met.

4. I read something on /. in the comment section about IIRC this project. Someone made the point that if person X has the right to put something under the GPL, then they can not revoke it. But if they never had the right in the first place, then regardless of what person X does, it would not be allow to be put under the GPL. So even if person X declares it as GPL it never was and person X revoking it is moot.

5. Does anyone know a country where this piece of crap could really be retroactive? I doubt that.
